New Changing Global Orders Blog Series

We are delighted to announce the launch of our new series: The Changing Global Orders Blog. This platform is dedicated to offering new and innovative perspectives on the history and future of global governance. Drawing upon contributions from our team members, affiliated partners, and external experts, the series will foster discussions across a wide spectrum of relevant topics, including – but not limited to – political economy, humanitarianism, regionalism, armed conflict, global governance, and more.

Our launch edition features a post from Paul Tucker, Research Fellow at the Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Business and Government, Harvard Kennedy School. Sir Paul is the author of the book Global Discord: Values and Power in a Fractured World Order (Princeton University Press 2022) and is a member of the Changing Global Orders External Advisory Board. This first blog in our series considers the current predicament of international organisations and how they are responding to the ongoing contest between China and the West.
